INDONESIA IN THE SEA GAMES HISTORY

Indonesia’s hosting the 26th Sea Games. This biggest event in South East Asia is scheduled to be held in Jakarta and Palembang starting November 11^th up to November 22^nd, 2011.
This is the 4th time for Indonesia to be the host of this Multi Sport Event. Indonesia first hosting SEA GAMES in 1979 in Jakarta where Indonesia successfully copped the over-all championship with 92 golds. In the previous SEA GAMES in 1977 Indonesia was also the winner of this event with 62 golds. That was the first time for Indonesia to participate in the SEA GAMES.
